Within two years at Cision, Sonal received three promotions. She started in Client Services to get her foot in the door moved her way up and owned her own book of clients. Looking for a change, she became a part of the Training and Educational services department as a Client Product Specialist. In this role she worked with clients "at-risk" for renewal and turned their experience around through custom-tailored trainings, which she developed, to help them see the value in their current services.
In her most current role with the Product Marketing - Sales Enablement team, Sonal carries over her training skills to assist sales with specialized product demos and provide the support needed behind the scenes. What Sonal enjoys the most out of this position is the ability to tie in her passion for writing, as she develops all of the sales tools needed for product launches including collateral, scripts, messaging, blog posts and more. What's most impressive is that Sonal manages Cision's University Program while juggling her day-to-day activities. She took on the task of creating an e-Learning suite to help students get familiar with CisionPoint before entering the workforce and to earn accreditation.
Through these experiences, Sonal aspires to move forward in a career that blends marketing with sales enablement and training support.
